Fish Tea

Caribbean Fish Tea is a light, spicy and delicious fish broth, which is very quick and easy to make. Because this is a light broth, not a fish stew, all you need are the fish heads, tails and bones. Any fish can be used.






Red Peas Soup

Jamaican Red Peas Soup (actually made with Red Kidney Beans) is thick, creamy and full of meat, dumplings and ground provisions, making it perfect for a summer starter or a warming winter meal. It is very rich and decadent. The traditional recipe calls for stewing beef along with salted pig tails or ham hocks. Choose which ever salted meat you desire.


I love food. I am Definitely a modern day foodie.


In most countries soup is usually more watery, but not for us. In most areas of the Caribbean, soup is generally a evening meal. It almost always contains dumplings, a choice of meat and yams. There is many more delicious recipes, but almost all of them has those three key ingredients.
